Geosciences Teaching Committee Remit

Responsible for the planning, policy and strategy of School teaching.  Responds to College and University initiatives, assesses viability of proposed new courses.  Oversees the external examination of courses (e.g. TPR and accreditation).  Responsible for the allocation of resources (human and fiscal) within agreed budgets.  Makes recommendations for resource change – e.g. fieldwork budgets, WLM tariffs, number of courses.​ Meets 6 times a year.
