Usher Institute Board Remit
Terms of Reference
The Usher Institute Board (UIB) is the key strategic decision making committee of the Institute. Convening to discuss topics of broad applicability to the Institute's business. Responsible collectively for agreeing the strategy of the Institute. The Board can Approve, Reject, Approve with amendments papers considered at the meeting.
The UIB will discuss and decide on areas such as;
- Institute research strategy;
- Institute education strategy;
- Institute Impact, Innovation & Knowledge Exchange Strategy;
- Ensure good and ethical governance of the Institute;
- Representation of the Institute in College and University governance and in relation to external partners and other agencies.
