SBMS School Research Committee Remit

1.To foster collaboration between researchers within the School, with the intent of increasing the number of joint applications for research funding, and collaborative links between this School and researchers elsewhere in the University, to ensure that this School is involved in large scale collaborations within the University. 2.To foster national and international links, particularly with a view to increasing involvement with internationally funded collaborations. 3.To disseminate, within the School and beyond, a greater awareness of the research activity of the School. 4.To increase awareness of commercialisation opportunities. 5.To advise the Head of School on action needed to enhance the collaborative culture of the School and to increase internationalisation of its activities. 6.To report to School senior management annually on activities and progress.
