College Research Committee Remit

The Terms of Reference of CRC require it to: * Develop and implement the College strategy for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange; * Ensure effective promotion of the College's research and knowledge transfer capabilities internally; * Ensure effective promotion of the College's research and knowledge transfer capabilities externally; * Identify and promote opportunities for multidisciplinary activities internally and with external partners; * Act as a source of intelligence on research funding opportunities; * Support and promote large multidisciplinary grant applications; * Work with the Research Careers Group to promote good practice in research training and professional development; * Review the research performance of Schools and to promote good practice in research; * Liaise with Research Councils, Scottish Funding Council and other funders.
